Wrong cake flavor and icing tasted metallic, very unpleasant lingering bitterness that overwhelmed everything from improper use of synthetic red food dye. Icing wasn’t buttercream as ordered but shortening based commercial tasting icing. Gross all around. Design was ok. Shorter than ordered. $100 mistake, pictured is what I ordered (top) versus what I got (bottom). Proceed with caution.

The staff are friendly and were gracious enough to make my son a last minute birthday cake. It turned out beautiful. They added more detail than I expected. The taste was spot on. Icing not so sweet but definitely had that birthday cake vibe. Thank you so much. Would highly recommend and will be using them again.

I’ve ordered with this business PLENTY of times. Not once have I ever had an issue. Well this time I ordered 54 cupcakes (120 dollars) for my child’s birthday. Every last one of them cupcakes were dry and overcooked. The cake was fresh I give them that but the cupcakes horrible. I picked them up same day and pulled them out the box and was surprised to find them hard. I was offered half refund or store credit. I should have been offered a full refund of the those cupcakes but it’s okay. I’ll get double back.

After paying several hundred dollars for birthday cakes, I waited until the last minute and for some reason I really didn’t really want to contact the baker I previously used for a rush order. I then remembered A Piece of Cake, but couldn’t remember the flavor because it had been years since I had their cake. I won’t ever forget. They came through last minute, personalized the cake and it was delicious! I will be sticking with them moving forward!

Let me start off by saying the presentation was exactly how I expected it to be . Once we cut into that cake and tasted it. It definitely was not worth the price I paid for it. My kids said they liked the Sams/ Publix cake better which would have been a whole lot cheaper too had I gone with that option. So disappointed because I really thought I was gone have a new bakery for birthdays. Wasted time and money on this one 😩
